Packaging Designs

for this project we had to pick a box shape and make 3 diffrent products of the same type and create boxes for them. i used the product type space objects and make galaxy, planet, and spaceship. i used tiny cube boxes and decorated them with many types of space brushes. i did this project in photoshop.

Book Illustration

for his project we had to redesign a childrens book cover or make our own book and design a cover for it. the project was to be entirely vectored and no images ussed except for tracing. i used the same design concept for the catterpillar but added in a strawberry with a hole. i dont think my design is better than the original though.

KEC Grad Wear Typography

in this project we had to redesign the grad wear for the grade 12s. our design had to include the school colours and be on hoodies and t-shirts. my ideas were plain and simple of just having the words KEC Grad 2010 and nothing else. i tried diffrent ways to arrange the text and diffrent fonts. i used photoshop to make it.

Personal Logo

this project was to make a logo that represents ourselves. i used the initials of my name becuase i thought it would be easier than making an image or symbol from scratch. i used both illustrator and photoshop to make the letters work together without making them unreadable.

Wordless Alphabet

this project was to choose 6 letters and make them potray words but using the letter itself as a main subject. it was hard to find letters that fit with the words they make and to make the word fit into the letter. i used entirely photoshop.

Special Event Posters

ths project was to make posters for local events. i chose the kite festival, teddy bears picnic, and winnie the pooh friendship day. i tried to make the posters using entirely photos and it was hard to make the text fit in nicely and still be readable. i used photoshop mostly and illustrator to fit the text in at the end.

Bud Spud Ticket

for this project we had to design a ticket for an upcomming fundraiser event. it was for KEC football and we had to make a ticket describing the events and highlights of the bud spud and steak event.

ASCD Logo Redesign

the thrid project to redesign the logo for the company ASCD. the objective was to keep the letters of ASCD the same and incorporate the word Manitoba. i used illustrator and traced over the letters then just added Manitoba below it.

KEC Logo Redesign

the second project to redesign the old KEC logo. i tried a few diffrent ways to try and make the letters fit together. changing the font and colours. i used mostly illustrator and alittle bit of photoshop.

KEC Handbook Cover

This was our first project to re-design the old student handbook. i used entirely Photoshop and put the final version together in InDesign.
